The ElectroHarmonix Q-Tron Plus Envelope Filter with Effects Loop - QTRONPLUS maintains the original design of the EHX Q-Tron, but offers a highly useful Effects Loop and an Attack Response Switch. The Effects Loop allows for the insertion of an additional effect or chain of effects between the preamp and filter sections without altering the envelope drive. This is particularly advantageous when using distortion devices, as most do not have a significant amplitude envelope. Additionally, the FX loop provides endless possibilities for creative combinations, such as pairing the Micro POG with a Deluxe Memory Man. The included Response Switch lets the user choose between a smooth, slow, vowel-like attack or the fast, dynamic response of the traditional Q-Tron.

The response switch enables the user to switch between fast and slow reaction times of the envelope follower, while the sweep direction switch allows for flexible up or down filter sweeps. Other features include adjustable gain knob, boost switch, and switchable hi or lo frequency sweep ranges. The product also includes a power adapter for convenient use.
