The all-purpose Jazz Model humbucker provides an Alnico 5 bar magnet and a special coil wind for a treble boost with rich bass and subdued mids. These features give chords a shimmering character and single notes a crisp sharpness. The bridge boasts an exclusive coil winding, delivering extra treble, tightness below, and a hushed mid section. The result is a crystalline humbucker that produces maximum clarity.
Precision-crafted in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Jazz Model humbuckers offer an alnico 5 bar magnet, a nickel silver baseplate, 4-conductor lead wire for various wiring options, and are wax-potted to prevent squealing. The neck position model is available in a passive mount 7-string configuration.
