2026 Fender American Professional Series

Fender American Professional Series – The Next Generation of American-Made Guitars and Basses

The 2026 Fender American Professional Series represents a new chapter in the evolution of Fender's most celebrated electric guitars and basses. Drawing on more than seven decades of musical innovation, Fender has refined its iconic designs with advanced electronics, improved hardware, outstanding playability and a new generation of V-Mod III pickups. The result is a comprehensive collection of American-made instruments designed to meet the demands of today's professional musicians.

Available at The Arts Music Store, the Fender American Professional collection includes the legendary Stratocaster and Telecaster, the versatile Stratocaster HSS and HotShot Telecaster, the distinctive Jazzmaster and Jaguar, and the powerful Precision Bass and Jazz Bass in four- and five-string configurations. Each instrument retains the unmistakable Fender character that helped define popular music while introducing meaningful improvements for contemporary performance.

V-Mod III Pickups – Classic Fender Tone, Refined

At the heart of the new American Professional Series are Fender's V-Mod III pickups, engineered to provide greater articulation, dynamic response and tonal clarity while preserving the distinctive voice of each instrument.

American Professional Stratocaster models feature three V-Mod III single-coil pickups, delivering shimmering highs, bell-like chime, warm midrange and the expressive response that made the Stratocaster a musical icon. The Stratocaster HSS combines two V-Mod III single-coils with a powerful bridge humbucker, providing everything from sparkling cleans to full-bodied overdriven tones. Its push-button coil-split functionality adds another dimension of tonal versatility.

Telecaster models feature V-Mod III single-coil pickups designed to preserve the unmistakable snap, twang and cutting clarity of the original Telecaster sound. The innovative HotShot Telecaster expands this formula with an additional Stratocaster single-coil pickup in the middle position and five-way switching, offering a wider palette of tones without sacrificing traditional Telecaster character.

The Jazzmaster and Jaguar feature dedicated V-Mod III pickups voiced to deliver their characteristic sparkle, warmth and definition. Enhanced switching capabilities expand their sonic possibilities, making these distinctive offset guitars equally capable of vintage-inspired textures and contemporary sounds.

American Professional Precision Bass and Jazz Bass models receive specially voiced V-Mod III pickups that deliver authoritative low frequencies, improved definition and the dynamic response demanded by professional bassists. From the muscular punch of the Precision Bass to the articulate versatility of the Jazz Bass, these instruments provide an exceptional foundation for virtually any musical style.

Refined Neck Profiles and Exceptional Playability

Comfort and control are central to the American Professional design philosophy. Electric guitar models feature Fender's popular Deep "C" neck profile, combining substantial support with a comfortable playing experience. Smooth rolled neck edges, a Super-Natural satin neck finish and a sculpted neck heel contribute to effortless movement and improved upper-register access.

Most American Professional electric guitars feature 22 narrow-tall frets, providing precise fretting, comfortable string bending and excellent note control. Quality bone nuts contribute to consistent string response and tuning performance.

The American Professional Jaguar retains its signature 24-inch short scale, offering a distinctive playing feel with reduced string tension and effortless bending compared with Fender's traditional 25.5-inch electric guitar scale.

Bass players benefit from similarly refined ergonomics. Precision Bass models feature a Modified 1963 "C" neck profile for a substantial yet comfortable feel, while Jazz Bass models employ a Slim "C" profile suited to fast, fluid playing. Both families feature 20 narrow-tall frets and a traditional 34-inch scale length.

Upgraded Bridges, Tremolos and Professional Hardware

The Fender American Professional Series introduces carefully selected hardware improvements designed to enhance tone, response, sustain and performance reliability.

Stratocaster models feature an upgraded two-point tremolo system incorporating a cold-rolled steel block and ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles. This precision-engineered assembly provides responsive tremolo action while supporting the familiar resonance and tonal character of a classic Stratocaster.

The American Professional Telecaster features a three-saddle top-load/string-through bridge with ClassicGear compensated brass Bullet saddles. This design combines traditional Telecaster tone with improved intonation flexibility and a choice of stringing arrangements.

Jazzmaster and Jaguar models feature Fender's Panorama tremolo system with a convenient pop-in arm and ClassicGear J-Bridge, providing expressive vibrato control while preserving the distinctive character of Fender's offset instruments.

American Professional Precision Bass and Jazz Bass models feature HiMass Pro bridges designed to enhance sustain and string response. The five-string Jazz Bass V employs a dedicated HiMass Pro V bridge to accommodate its extended range.

ClassicGear Precision Electronics

Across the American Professional collection, Fender's ClassicGear Precision potentiometers deliver smooth, predictable and consistent control. Designed with carefully calibrated resistance, custom torque and a musical taper, these components allow players to make precise volume and tonal adjustments during performance.

Whether adjusting a Stratocaster's output, refining a Telecaster's bite or balancing the response of a Jazz Bass, these professional-grade controls provide a responsive connection between the musician and the instrument.
