Fender American Professional Jaguar w/Case
A versatile working instrument combining a 24 inch scale, dual V-Mod III Jaguar pickups and a Panorama tremolo with an alder body and a rosewood fretboard
Made for players who want classic response with contemporary playability, the Fender American Professional Jaguar combines an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Its 24" (610 mm) scale, Deep "C" profile and 22 narrow tall frets support a familiar, controlled feel, while the model-specific electronics and hardware are designed to deliver sparkle and chime with the looser feel and warm character of a short scale. The result is a versatile American-made instrument intended for regular rehearsal, recording and live use.
Features
The neck design uses a Deep "C" maple neck with rolled fretboard edges and Fender's satin urethane treatment on the back. The sculpted neck heel improves access toward the upper frets, while the 9.5" (241 mm) radius, 22 narrow tall frets and bone nut give the instrument a consistent, performance-minded playing surface.
On the electronics side, two V-Mod III Jaguar single-coils. The bridge pickup can be tapped for a lower-output vintage tone, and the rhythm circuit switches both pickups into series with independent thumbwheel volume and tone controls.
The mechanical side of the instrument is just as considered: the Panorama Jazzmaster-style tremolo with pop-in arm and ClassicGear J-Bridge, giving the short-scale Jaguar a broad expressive vibrato range while supporting stable intonation.
Fender's ClassicGear Precision potentiometers provide smooth adjustment and predictable control response during performance. Fender includes a Deluxe Molded Case to protect the instrument between sessions and gigs.
