Martin Special Edition 00 Size Acoustic Guitar - CEO7

Martin CEO-7 Special Edition 00-14 Fret Slope Shoulder
Acoustic Guitar in Autumn Sunset Burst w/Ply Hardshell Case

Vintage-inspired slope-shoulder 00 acoustic with Adirondack spruce, mahogany and responsive scalloped bracing

The Martin CEO-7 Special Edition 00-14 Fret Slope Shoulder Acoustic Guitar in Autumn Sunset Burst w/Ply Hardshell Case blends vintage-inspired styling with modern Martin craftsmanship in a compact and expressive acoustic. Designed by Chris Martin IV, the CEO-7 pairs an Adirondack spruce top with mahogany back and sides for a warm, punchy voice with excellent clarity and projection. Its short 24.9 inch scale, Modified V neck and scalloped 1/4 inch Adirondack spruce bracing give the guitar a responsive feel and a distinctive character suited to fingerstyle playing, flatpicking and intimate acoustic accompaniment.

Features

The Adirondack spruce top offers excellent headroom, clarity and dynamic response, while mahogany back and sides contribute a focused midrange and warm, articulate fundamental tone. The compact 00-14 Fret Slope Shoulder body provides a comfortable playing experience while maintaining impressive projection for its size.

Scalloped X-bracing is constructed from Adirondack spruce and uses 1/4 inch braces, allowing the top to respond freely to a wide range of playing dynamics. This lightweight bracing contributes to the CEO-7's lively attack, sustain and open acoustic character.

The select hardwood neck features a Modified V profile with a Standard Taper for a distinctly traditional feel. Its 24.9 inch scale provides slightly lower string tension than a long-scale Martin, while the 1-3/4 inch nut width and generous 2-5/16 inch bridge spacing offer comfortable room for detailed fingerstyle technique.

An ebony fretboard is appointed with Old Style 18 abalone inlays, while antique white binding and an Autumn Sunset Burst gloss top give the CEO-7 its vintage-inspired appearance. A tortoise-pattern pickguard, multi-stripe rosette and black top inlay further reinforce its understated pre-war aesthetic.

The ebony Straight Line bridge uses a compensated bone drop-in saddle, while a bone nut and white bridge pins complete the traditional acoustic hardware. Ping aged nickel tuning machines with black buttons and an ebony headplate with Martin's Script Authentic 1933 logo add further period-inspired detail.

Each CEO-7 includes a pre-printed C.F. Martin IV signature label that is numbered in sequence. A Martin Ply Hardshell Case with a laminated wood shell and plush interior is included for secure storage and transportation.
