Features

The newly developed ULTRA BUFFER helps preserve clarity and high-frequency detail when using long cable runs or more complex effects setups. Players can choose between true bypass for a direct signal path or buffered operation to help maintain signal integrity over longer distances.

The large multicolour LED display is designed for excellent visibility onstage or in the studio, with multiple colour patterns and a bright mode for different environments. Four meter styles - Regular, Strobe, Half-strobe and Focus - let players choose the display behaviour that best suits their tuning style.

With detection accuracy down to plus or minus 0.1 cent in Strobe mode, the Pitchblack X Pro is well suited to detailed setup work, recording and precise live tuning. The built-in just-right tuning indication gives clear visual confirmation when the note is centred.

Detachable rack-mounting adapters make the unit flexible beyond a traditional rack installation. The adapters can also be fitted to the bottom of the tuner so it can be used as a floor-standing unit, while front- and rear-panel input and output jacks simplify connection in pedalboard, rack and studio configurations.

A dedicated cable checker adds useful troubleshooting capability. By connecting a standard instrument cable between INPUT 1 and the CABLE CHECK jack, the tuner can help identify cable faults before they become a problem onstage or during a session.
