OVERVIEW
Crafted to commemorate Taylor's 50th anniversary, the AD14CE-SB LTD introduces a second cutaway Grand Auditorium to the American Dream Series. This US-made model boasts a solid walnut/spruce wood pairing, hand-sprayed tobacco sunburst top, and a firestripe pickguard, delivering a musically satisfying playing experience with stunning visual appeal.
Named after the guitar-making shop where co-founders Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug first met and eventually bought to establish Taylor Guitars in 1974, the AD14CE-SB LTD embodies the essence of the series with its versatile design and earthy, neo-vintage aesthetic. Adorned with a firestripe faux-tortoise pickguard, the top's golden sunburst center creates a mesmerizing visual harmony. Additional subtle details include chamfered body edges for enhanced comfort, a thin matte finish, Italian acrylic dot inlays, gold Taylor tuning machines, silver side dots, and, emblematic of all
The combination of walnut and spruce in the AD14ce-SBLTD produces a versatile acoustic range, perfect for intricate fingerpicked melodies, vibrant strummed chords, and everything in between. Walnut adds a distinct midrange and a balanced mix of warm low and clear high tones, while the spruce top, thanks to our V-Class voicing architecture, allows for precise, harmonious sound. The popular Grand Auditorium shape offers a full range for different playing styles. The guitar also features onboard ES2 electronics, a commemorative 50th Anniversary label, and comes with a durable yet lightweight AeroCase.
Production will be limited to 1,974 guitars worldwide.
