With a SlimTaper C neck profile, bound rosewood fretboard, ProBucker humbuckers and dependable Grover hardware, this SG Standard is built for everything from blues and classic rock to heavier modern styles.

Features

The contoured mahogany body delivers the familiar balance, resonance and upper-fret access associated with the SG design. Its double-cutaway shape makes it especially comfortable for lead playing, while the set mahogany neck contributes to strong sustain and a connected, responsive feel.

The SlimTaper C neck profile is designed for fast, comfortable playability, while the bound rosewood fretboard, 12 inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets provide an easy feel for chords, bends and lead work. Pearloid trapezoid inlays complete the classic SG presentation.

Epiphone ProBucker pickups provide vintage-inspired humbucker tone with plenty of clarity, warmth and output. A ProBucker 2 in the neck delivers smooth, rounded tones, while the hotter ProBucker 3 in the bridge adds extra bite and drive for rhythm and lead playing.

Independent volume and tone controls for each pickup, along with the three-way toggle switch, give players flexible control over pickup balance and tonal response. CTS potentiometers add dependable feel and performance to the control layout.
