The Fender Kingfish Delta Day Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar in Daphne Blue w/Deluxe Molded Case captures the powerful, expressive blues-rock voice and distinctive playing preferences of Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. Its alder Telecaster body is paired with a roasted maple neck and thick slab rosewood fretboard for a combination of resonance, warmth and familiar Fender response. Two custom Kingfish humbuckers provide everything from smooth blues tones to growling overdrive, while the Adjusto-Matic bridge, 12 inch fretboard radius and medium jumbo frets give the guitar a solid, performance-focused feel.

Features

The pair of custom Kingfish humbucking pickups was developed to deliver the strong, dynamic response at the heart of Ingram's sound. They can move from warmer blues textures to aggressive, overdriven rock tones while retaining definition and punch.

The roasted maple neck uses a substantial V profile for a classic feel in the hand, with Fender's roasting process adding stability and resonance. A satin urethane finish on the back keeps the playing surface smooth, while the headstock face receives a gloss finish for a traditional appearance.

The slab rosewood fretboard has a 12 inch radius that provides a comfortable platform for large bends and expressive lead playing without the tighter feel of a vintage-radius board. Twenty-one medium jumbo frets and a 25.5 inch scale complete a familiar yet performance-oriented Fender setup.

An Adjusto-Matic bridge with anchored tailpiece provides individual intonation adjustment for all six strings and gives the guitar a different feel and response from a traditional Telecaster bridge. Vintage-style Fender tuners, a bone nut and nickel/chrome hardware complete the functional hardware package.

Independent volume and tone controls are provided for each pickup, along with a three-position toggle switch for neck, combined and bridge selections.
