Overview
Gibson is expanding the Victory lineup with the Victory Floyd Rose, a model developed in direct response to sustained player demand. Following the successful 2024 reintroduction of the Victory series, players consistently asked for a Floyd Rose vibrato option, and this model answers that request while preserving the feel and identity that made the updated Victory guitars so popular. This version is finished in Deep Ocean Burst and includes a hardshell case for protection and transport.
Features
Built on the foundation of the Victory Figured Top, the Victory Floyd Rose pairs a mahogany double-cutaway body with an AA figured maple top and a 25.5 inch scale mahogany neck carved to a SlimTaper profile for fast, articulate playability. The ebony fretboard features a compound radius, 24 medium jumbo frets, and simple acrylic dot inlays for smooth bends and low-action response. A six-on-a-side Explorer-style headstock fitted with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and a Floyd Rose locking nut helps deliver stable tuning even during aggressive vibrato use. Chrome-plated hardware, a black five-ply pickguard, black switch tip, and black Top Hat knobs reinforce the modern visual identity. Two uncovered 80s Tribute humbucker pickups with zebra bobbins are wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and selectable inner or outer coil options when split, giving the guitar broad humbucking and single-coil tonal flexibility.
