Gibson J-45 Original Acoustic Electric w/Case
The legendary Workhorse revisited with 1930s-inspired appointments and Baggs HiFi DNA electronics
The Gibson J-45 Original Acoustic Electric brings the celebrated Workhorse back toward its early Jumbo roots while retaining the warm, woody response that has made the J-45 one of Gibson's defining acoustic guitars. A solid Sitka spruce top and genuine mahogany back and sides provide the familiar balance of warmth, punch and musical midrange, while the SlimTaper mahogany neck offers smooth, comfortable playability.
Features
Vintage-inspired details include a mother-of-pearl Gibson script headstock logo, nickel-plated Grover open-back tuners, a firestripe pickguard and a rectangular rosewood bridge. The Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system uses two lightweight bridge-plate sensors with individual preamps to capture the instrument's natural character while leaving its unplugged response intact. Discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls keep adjustments close at hand without interrupting the guitar's clean appearance.
