A mahogany body and mahogany neck deliver the familiar midrange punch and sustain that players expect, while the double-cut design improves access to the upper frets for lead work and modern playing styles.

AAA Figured Maple Veneer and Bound Top for Elevated Stage Presence

This model adds a AAA figured maple veneer over the mahogany body for a more premium visual presentation, along with binding on the top and fingerboard. The SlimTaperTM neck profile is designed for a quick, modern feel, and the rosewood fingerboard carries 22 frets with acrylic dot inlays for a clean, classic look.

ProBuckerTM Humbuckers for Versatile, High-Impact Tones

Unlike traditional Les Paul Special designs that use P-90 pickups, the Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured features Epiphone’s acclaimed ProBuckerTM humbuckers for thicker output and added versatility. A ProBucker 2 in the neck position delivers warm, articulate tones, while the hotter ProBucker 3 in the bridge position adds bite and sustain for cutting lead lines. Individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, paired with a three-way toggle switch, provide excellent tonal shaping for stage and studio use.
