The J-180, a popular choice among artists like the Everly Brothers, Cat Stevens, Dwight Yoakam, and Billy Joe Armstrong, is recognized as a more compact counterpart to the renowned SJ-200. This Inspired by Gibson J-180 LS showcases an exceptional partnership between Epiphone and the skilled luthiers at Gibson's Custom Shop.

Notable features include a thermally aged solid spruce top with scalloped X bracing, solid mahogany back and sides, and a one-piece mahogany neck topped with a laurel pickguard adorned with graduated mother-of-pearl stars. The saddle, bridge pins, and nut are crafted from bone, while the iconic "open book" headstock displays the Epiphone logo and the J-180 Star motif in mother of pearl. Additionally, an Inspired by Gibson Custom Double Diamond emblem is engraved on the back of the headstock, and the LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp system ensures optimal performance for both studio recordings and live performances. A hardshell case is also provided.
