The VOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Sixties Cherry adds the softly aged appearance of a carefully preserved vintage instrument.

A one-piece mahogany neck with an Authentic 1961 Thin D profile provides the sleek feel associated with early-sixties examples, while the bound rosewood fretboard carries 22 reissue medium jumbo frets and cellulose small-block inlays. The neck joins the body at the 16th fret for period-correct bridge placement. A balanced pair of P-90 pickups uses an underwound Alnico 5 neck pickup and a standard-wound Alnico 3 bridge pickup, each hand-wired to individual volume and tone controls with CTS potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors.
