The Pearl P-2500CX Mono Pro Series Bass Drum Pedal is designed for drummers who demand rock-solid stability, ultra-smooth action, and extensive adjustability. Built on Pearl’s proven engineering philosophy, the P-2500CX delivers a refined playing feel that supports consistent power, control, and comfort across a wide range of playing styles.
At the foundation of the P-2500CX is a non-slip rubber base with Velcro, ensuring exceptional grip on virtually any playing surface. A newly designed heel spike anchors the heel plate firmly to the floor, preventing unwanted movement and maintaining stability even during aggressive performances.
The upgraded Zero-Play hinge system features four internal ball bearings, delivering exceptionally smooth, durable, and wobble-free motion. This enhanced hinge design eliminates bearing play while improving long-term reliability, allowing the pedal to respond instantly and consistently to every stroke.
An extended footboard with a traction plate provides a larger playing surface that helps reduce volume inconsistency and supports advanced techniques such as slide and heel-toe. The longer board also offers greater flexibility in foot placement, allowing comfortable playing closer to the hinge while still generating strong output.
The mono post frame features a curved design that provides increased toe clearance compared to straight-frame pedals. This allows for closer pedal pairings and greater reach at the heel during each stroke. The swing-action hoop clamp uses a self-adjusting contact mechanism that securely grips the bass drum hoop while reducing the risk of hoop deformation.
The P-2500CX also features Pearl’s Uni-Lock system, allowing independent adjustment of both footboard angle and beater angle for precise feel customization. A newly redesigned noise-free spring bracket eliminates unwanted operational noise while further enhancing smoothness.
Completing the design is Pearl’s weight-controllable Quad Beater. Up to four removable 3g weights can be installed, allowing players to fine-tune response, attack, and tonal character to match their personal playing style.
