The Martin D-15M Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar w/Softshell Case brings Martin's iconic Dreadnought shape to the all-solid mahogany 15 Series for a bold, balanced acoustic voice with strong low end and warm midrange character. A mahogany top, back and sides combine with non-scalloped spruce X-bracing for a focused, articulate response, while the satin finish gives the instrument a smooth feel and understated traditional appearance. Its Modified Low Oval neck and 1-11/16 inch nut width provide comfortable, familiar playability across a wide range of musical styles.

Features

All-solid mahogany construction gives the D-15M a warm, woody voice with strong fundamentals, focused mids and a balanced response. The full-size D-14 Fret Dreadnought body adds the projection and low-end presence that make this classic Martin shape well suited to strumming, flatpicking, accompaniment and songwriting.

Non-scalloped X-bracing uses 5/16 inch spruce braces to support the mahogany top while maintaining a clear, controlled acoustic response. The satin Dark Mahogany finish allows the natural character of the wood to remain the visual focus while providing a smooth, comfortable feel.

The select hardwood neck features Martin's Modified Low Oval profile with a Standard Taper. Its 25.4 inch scale and 1-11/16 inch nut width provide a familiar playing feel for chord work, flatpicking and general acoustic performance.

The East Indian rosewood fretboard features Diamonds and Squares Short Pattern abalone inlays, while the matching East Indian rosewood Modern Belly bridge uses a compensated bone saddle. A bone nut and ebony bridge pins complement the traditional material selection.

Nickel open-gear tuning machines with large black knobs, an East Indian rosewood headplate and Martin's Old Style script logo complete the understated vintage-inspired appearance. Depending on material availability, Martin may fit the D-15M with either a tortoise-pattern or black pickguard.
