Martin Tenor Size Little Martin Acoustic Guitar - LX1

Martin LX1 Little Martin
Acoustic Guitar w/Soft Gig Bag

Compact right-handed acoustic with a solid spruce top, durable mahogany-pattern HPL body and short-scale playability

The Martin LX1 Little Martin Acoustic Guitar w/Soft Gig Bag delivers genuine Martin character in a compact, travel-friendly format. Its solid spruce top provides clarity, warmth and dynamic range, while mahogany-pattern high-pressure laminate back and sides add durability for everyday playing and travel. The Modified 0-14 Fret body, short 23 inch scale and comfortable Modified Low Oval neck make the LX1 an inviting choice for students, experienced players, practice sessions, travel and casual playing around the house or campfire.

Features

The solid spruce top gives the LX1 a clear, articulate acoustic voice with impressive projection for its compact size. Mahogany-pattern HPL back and sides provide a traditional wood-inspired appearance while offering excellent stability for an instrument designed to travel.

The Modified 0-14 Fret body keeps the guitar compact and comfortable without sacrificing the familiar feel of a six-string acoustic. Its 23 inch scale creates a relaxed string feel that is especially approachable for younger players, travellers and anyone looking for a smaller acoustic guitar.

Spruce X-bracing with non-scalloped 5/16 inch braces supports the soundboard and contributes to the LX1's tonal clarity and projection. The hand-rubbed top and neck finishes give the instrument a smooth, understated feel.

The Rust Birch Laminate neck features Martin's Modified Low Oval profile with a Standard Taper. An FSC Certified Richlite fretboard, 1-11/16 inch nut width and 20 frets provide comfortable dimensions for chords, melodies and general acoustic playing.

An FSC Certified Richlite Junior Style Belly bridge is paired with a compensated white TUSQ saddle, while a white Corian nut and chrome enclosed-gear tuning machines complete the practical hardware package.

This configuration is fully acoustic with no onboard electronics. A lightweight Martin Soft Gig Bag with backpack and shoulder straps is included for convenient storage and transportation.
