- DETAILS
OVERVIEW
Versatile Analog Sound Shaping
The BP-1W stands out for its versatility; three distinct operating modes in a single pedal, and the option to choose a pristine clean boost too. Use the Gain knob to dial in the desired tone - unique to each mode - and Level knob to adjust the sound/bypass ratio or give extra oomph to pedals or amplifier downstream.
Choose Your Tone Colour
CE - This mode faithfully recreates the renowned CE-1 preamp sound, renowned for its bright, crystal-like character and impactful low-end response. Alter the Gain dial to generate a variety of satisfying tones, from subtle to heavy.
RE - This setting faithfully recreates the RE-201 preamp's distinct tone and responsiveness. The low Gain settings offer a full, warm sound with increasing saturation as you move up the dial. You can achieve powerful overdriven sounds, with authentic analog compression for vintage coloring that will enrich any pedals and amps that follow.
NAT - The BP1W offers pristine, focused sound with minimal side effects. Its cutting-edge analog Waza Craft technology provides a robust enhancement, perfect for any standard clean signal boost.

Two Premium Buffers
The BP-1W features high-quality buffer circuitry with two selectable types. Slide the rear panel switch to choose between the pure signal of a standard buffer or a vintage buffer with lower input impedance. The vintage type produces a warmer tone and a smooth dynamic response, with maximum benefits achieved by connecting a guitar with passive pickups directly to the BP-1W's input. The standard buffer is always engaged for signal conditioning when the pedal is bypassed, regardless of the buffer switch setting.
