Warm Audio Centavo Mod Compact Klon-Style Overdrive Pedal
Compact high-headroom overdrive with authentic controls, original-style circuit design and switchable low-end extension
The Warm Audio Centavo Mod brings the sought-after high-headroom overdrive character of the full-sized Centavo into a more pedalboard-friendly enclosure with top-mounted jacks. Its internal circuit remains faithful to the vintage-inspired design, using the same component approach as the larger Centavo while making the format easier to fit into modern pedalboards.
Features
The Centavo Mod is designed to work equally well as a clean boost, edge-of-breakup drive or stronger overdrive into both clean and already-driven amplifiers. Its Gain, Treble and Output controls follow the simple three-knob layout associated with the original circuit, while a rear-panel MOD switch extends low-frequency response for a fuller, throatier sound on the lower strings. Carefully selected TL072 op amps and premium diodes support the pedal's characteristic blend of clean signal, boost and clipping response.
