The Taylor 814ce Sunset Blvd Next Generation is a distinctive Grand Auditorium created as an exclusive model inspired by Guitar Center's legendary Sunset Boulevard flagship. Its solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides deliver exceptional clarity, dynamic range and rich harmonic depth, while Taylor's scalloped V-Class bracing adds warmth, projection and sustain. The new Action Control neck allows fast, precise string-height adjustment, and Taylor Claria electronics provide a natural, responsive amplified voice for professional stage and studio use. A Sunset Shaded Edgeburst top, maple binding, rosewood edge trim and refined custom appointments give this exclusive 814ce a striking identity of its own.

Features

This special Next Generation 814ce combines Taylor's versatile Grand Auditorium body with premium solid tonewoods and a collection of advanced performance features. Scalloped V-Class bracing enhances low-end warmth, projection and sustain, while the Action Control neck system allows the player to fine-tune string height without removing the neck. Taylor's Claria pickup system features intuitive volume, tone and mid-contour controls designed to preserve the guitar's natural acoustic character when amplified. Its Sunset Shaded Edgeburst treatment is complemented by a green abalone rosette, engraved Victorian-style inlays, maple binding with rosewood edge trim, gold Taylor tuners and an Indian rosewood pickguard.
