The mahogany body uses Sire's New Marcus Miller Jazz Type shape for familiar balance and playing comfort. Its natural Mahogany finish highlights the simple, classic appearance of the instrument.

A Canadian hard maple neck features a comfortable C-shaped profile and four-bolt steel square plate joint. The rosewood fretboard has carefully rolled edges for a smoother, more refined feel, along with a 9.5 inch radius, medium frets and white pearl dot inlays.

The Marcus Standard J-Revolution pickup set is designed to produce a clear, detailed response with the familiar versatility of a dual J-style pickup configuration. A pickup blender provides smooth control between the neck and bridge pickups.
