John Mayer-developed Silver Sky feel in a 1-of-500 Defender heritage colour
The PRS Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition brings a distinctive Defender-inspired identity to the USA-made Silver Sky platform. Finished in Sandglow Yellow, this limited run pairs an alder body with a matching painted headstock, white plastics and a unique neck plate marked with the colour name and “1 of 500.” Only 500 instruments are being produced in each of the four heritage colours.
Features
The bolt-on maple neck uses the 635 JM-R profile and a 7.25-inch rosewood fretboard for the familiar vintage-inspired feel developed with John Mayer. Three PRS 635JM single-coil pickups deliver a full, warm response with a smooth musical top end, controlled by one volume, two tone controls and a five-way blade switch. A PRS Steel Tremolo with Gen III knife-edge screws, vintage-style locking tuners, bone nut and nickel hardware complete the performance-focused hardware package. A PRS ATA molded case with a custom Defender badge is included.
