Developed with Doug Aldrich, known for his work with Whitesnake, Dio, The Dead Daisies and more, this compact signature combo is built on the HT-5R MK III platform and voiced to deliver big-rig rock tone at manageable volumes. The DA5 Ruby is designed to capture the feel and character of a powerful Doug Aldrich-inspired rig in a 5 watt combo. Its push-pull valve power stage uses a 12BH7 power valve to deliver the response, punch and dynamics players expect from a larger valve amplifier, while power reduction down to 0.5 watts makes it practical for home practice, studio tracking and lower-volume playing.

A custom Aldrich 50 loudspeaker was developed with Doug Aldrich to give the amp more authority, presence and projection than a typical low-wattage combo. The result is a compact amp that feels bigger than its size, with enough depth and headroom to handle expressive clean work, thick overdrive and high-energy rock tones.

Two channels and four voices provide a flexible range of sounds, from clean tones to saturated overdrive.
