The Boss Katana-25 25W 1x8 Guitar Amplifier brings the acclaimed sound and responsive feel of the Katana series into a compact format designed for home practice, learning, songwriting and recording. Built around the BOSS Tube Logic design philosophy, its 25-watt reactive analog power section works with a custom 8 inch speaker to deliver dynamic response, rich low end and detailed highs. Six amp characters, over 60 onboard BOSS effects, integrated Bluetooth and extensive app connectivity give players plenty of room to explore while keeping everyday operation straightforward.

Features

Tube Logic technology is designed to recreate the interaction, response and playing feel associated with a tube amplifier. The custom 8 inch speaker and reactive 25-watt analog power section work together with the preamp and effects system for punchy dynamics and an expressive response to changes in picking strength and guitar volume.

Six amp characters cover sounds ranging from sparkling cleans to high-gain Brown tones, with additional variations providing even more tonal options. A dedicated acoustic character is also included for acoustic-electric instruments. Gain, Volume and three-band EQ controls make basic tone shaping immediate without requiring menu navigation.

More than 60 BOSS effects are available, with up to five effects usable simultaneously. Players can build tones with drive, modulation, delay, reverb and other effects, then store favourite combinations in the Tone Setting section for quick recall.

The Katana-25 includes 20 ready-to-play presets along with 10 memory locations for custom sounds. A clear display and streamlined controls make it easy to recall and edit Tone Settings, while a dedicated tap-tempo control synchronizes delay effects and the integrated tuner provides convenient everyday tuning.

Selectable Power Control allows operation at the full 25 watts or at 0.5 watt, making it possible to enjoy responsive, driven amplifier tones at more manageable bedroom volume levels.

Integrated Bluetooth provides wireless audio streaming from a smartphone or tablet and connects with the companion BOSS app for deeper editing. The app also provides access to BOSS Tone Exchange and a Session function for playing along with YouTube songs and lesson videos, including automatic Tone Setting changes during compatible sessions.

A class-compliant USB-C interface allows direct recording to a computer or compatible mobile device, while a dedicated headphone output supports quiet practice. An external footswitch jack provides hands-free Tone Setting control, with support for compatible wired and wireless BOSS control options.
