The Electro-Harmonix Flatiron Fuzz Distortion Pedal blends fuzz and distortion in a compact analog design inspired by classic late-'70s op-amp circuits. Its symmetrical hard-clipping architecture produces everything from mild, gritty drive at lower settings to thick, compressed arena-rock distortion and aggressive fuzz as the Drive control is pushed higher. With simple Volume, Drive and Filter controls, the Flatiron Fuzz makes it easy to shape a wide range of saturated guitar tones without unnecessary complexity.

The Flatiron Fuzz uses classic op-amp circuitry with symmetrical hard clipping to deliver a muscular, harmonically rich sound that sits between traditional distortion and fuzz. At lower Drive settings it remains relatively clean while adding mild breakup, while higher settings produce thicker sustain, compression and aggressive distortion.
The unique Filter control operates as a low-pass filter with an adjustable cutoff frequency. This lets players tame the high-end response and move from darker, smoother sounds to brighter, more cutting tones depending on the guitar, amplifier and musical setting.
The pedal also responds naturally to changes from the guitar's volume control, cleaning up as the volume is rolled back while retaining some of its distinctive driven character. This makes it useful for players who like to control gain dynamically from the guitar.
True bypass switching helps preserve signal-path integrity when the effect is disengaged, while the compact enclosure makes the Flatiron Fuzz easy to integrate into a crowded pedalboard. It can be powered by the included 9V battery or an optional compatible 9.6V DC power adapter.
