Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s
Electric Guitar in Iced Tea Burst w/Premium Gig Bag
Vintage-inspired Les Paul with a figured maple-topped mahogany body, SlimTaper 60s C neck and ProBucker humbuckers
The Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s Electric Guitar in Iced Tea Burst w/Premium Gig Bag channels the look, feel and tone of the celebrated late-'50s and early-'60s Les Paul Standards. Its mahogany body is topped with maple and a highly figured maple veneer, combining the strong midrange character of mahogany with the added definition and visual depth of maple. A long-tenon mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard and pair of ProBucker humbuckers complete a classic formula designed for expressive blues, rock and beyond.
Features
The mahogany body and maple cap provide the warm sustain and focused midrange associated with the Les Paul design, while the highly figured maple veneer adds the dramatic flame appearance that defines this model. Single-ply binding around the top and fretboard reinforces its traditional Standard styling.
A glued-in mahogany neck with a long tenon promotes stability and sustain, while the SlimTaper 60s C profile provides a faster, less bulky feel than heavier vintage neck shapes. The bound rosewood fretboard features a comfortable 12 inch radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid trapezoid inlays.
The ProBucker 2 neck pickup delivers smooth, warm humbucker tones, while the slightly hotter ProBucker 3 bridge pickup adds punch and definition for rhythm and lead work. Independent volume and tone controls use CTS potentiometers, with traditional 50s-style wiring and a three-way toggle switch providing familiar Les Paul control.
Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with Kidney buttons and a Graph Tech nut contribute to dependable tuning stability. At the body, the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece provide straightforward intonation adjustment and secure string anchoring.
Nickel hardware, gold Top Hat knobs with reflectors and dial pointers, cream appointments and the 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock complete the vintage-inspired presentation. An Epiphone Premium Gig Bag is included for storage and transportation.
