DESCRIPTION
The secret to Stratocaster shredding? It's been known by iconic players everywhere: a scalloped fingerboard. What's the deal? Your fingers make contact only with the strings, not the wood fretboard, lightening your touch and upping speed. Plus gain easier grip for smooth string bends, pull offs, and tapping. Wowza!
Crafted at Fender's Corona, Calif. manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender American Pro II Scalloped Stratocaster guitar neck features a Deep "C"-shaped profile and 9.5"-radius maple or rosewood fingerboard with 22 narrow-tall frets.
This replacement neck is only for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitar.
Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures. Your local FMIC Authorized Service Center can install genuine replacement necks; find Authorized Service Center locations near you in the "Support" section of fender.com.
