Combining traditional Fender character with practical upgrades, the Fender American Professional Jazz Electric Bassunites an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Its 34" (864 mm) scale, Slim "C" profile and 20 narrow tall frets support a familiar, controlled feel, while the model-specific electronics and hardware are designed to deliver the punch, clarity and definition associated with a Jazz Bass. The result is a versatile American-made instrument intended for regular rehearsal, recording and live use.

Features

Under the fretting hand, a Slim "C" maple neck with rolled fretboard edges and Fender's satin urethane treatment on the back. The sculpted neck heel improves access toward the upper frets, while the 9.5" (241 mm) radius, 20 narrow tall frets and bone nut give the instrument a consistent, performance-minded playing surface.

At the heart of the signal path are two V-Mod III single-coil Jazz Bass pickups. Separate pickup volume controls and a master tone make it easy to blend their articulate, punchy voices for different playing styles.

Setup flexibility comes from a 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge with string-through-body or top-load options, plus Fender lightweight vintage-style tuning keys with tapered shafts.

Smooth, repeatable control comes from ClassicGear Precision potentiometers, another working-player detail in the build. For transport and storage, a Fender Deluxe Molded Case is included.
