Fender American Professional Precision Electric Bass w/Case

Professional Fender performance with an ash body, a maple fretboard and a V-Mod III split-coil Precision Bass pickup, Modified 1963 "C" neck and HiMass Pro bridge

Designed for demanding stage and studio work, the Fender American Professional Precision Electric Bassmatches an ash body with a maple neck and maple fretboard. Its 34" (864 mm) scale, Modified 1963 "C" profile and 20 narrow tall frets support a familiar, controlled feel, while the model-specific electronics and hardware are designed to deliver the punch and growl associated with a Precision Bass, with added articulation. The result is a versatile American-made instrument intended for regular rehearsal, recording and live use.

Features

For smooth position changes and upper-register access, a Modified 1963 "C" maple neck with rolled fretboard edges and Fender's satin urethane treatment on the back. The sculpted neck heel improves access toward the upper frets, while the 9.5" (241 mm) radius, 20 narrow tall frets and bone nut give the instrument a consistent, performance-minded playing surface.

Its electronic layout delivers a V-Mod III split single-coil Precision Bass pickup. It is designed for the punch and growl associated with the P Bass sound while providing increased articulation, with master volume and master tone keeping control direct.

Its bridge and tuning hardware are specified for regular professional use: a 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge that can be strung through the body or top-loaded. The design supports solid sustain and flexible setup, paired with Fender lightweight vintage-style tuners with tapered shafts.

Smooth, repeatable control comes from ClassicGear Precision potentiometers, another working-player detail in the build. For transport and storage, a Fender Deluxe Molded Case is included.
