Gibson Country Western 60s Original Acoustic Electric w/Case
A revived 1960s Gibson classic with warm mahogany tone and Baggs HiFi DNA electronics
The Gibson Country Western 60s Original Acoustic Electric revives a celebrated Sixties-era model with the bold projection and warmth expected from a Sitka spruce and mahogany acoustic. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, it combines a responsive solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, giving the guitar a balanced voice suited to rhythm playing, single-note leads and fingerstyle work.
Features
A Round-profile mahogany neck, bound rosewood fretboard and mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays provide a refined playing surface and vintage-inspired appearance. Gotoh sealed-back tuners with white buttons, a rosewood belly-up bridge, bone nut and saddle, and a Country Western tortoiseshell pickguard complete the period-inspired hardware package. The Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system uses dual bridge-plate sensors with discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for natural amplified performance.
