OVERVIEW
The Celebrity Elite Plus line enhances the traditional multi-soundhole guitar design of the Celebrity Elite series, elevating it with premium figured tops, exquisite abalone details, and top-notch sound, aesthetics, and functionality.
The Ovation Celebrity Elite Plus CE44PFKOA guitar boasts a traditional mid-depth body with a beautiful quilt maple, Koa, Spalted Maple, or Padauk top. It also showcases the Elite multi-soundhole design, which delivers crisp highs and a well-balanced bass response. The scalloped X bracing, carefully crafted with input from previous Ovation designs, results in a stunning new pattern optimized for modern sound and tonal richness. The combined elements of the body, top, and soundholes create the unmistakable Ovation Elite sound, resonating with incredible projection, impeccable note clarity, and a nuanced tonal profile.
The top boasts multi-wood epaulets, black binding, abalone purfling, and a glossy finish. Additional high-end features include a smooth satin-finish neck with black binding, a 10-radius rosewood fretboard with 20 frets (24 for high E string) and abalone inlays, and a rosewood bridge. To achieve optimal sound during live performances, the CE44P includes Ovation's Slimline pickup and OP-4BT preamp system with a three-band EQ, volume/gain control, onboard tuner, and low-battery indicator.
