The Taylor NOS 114ce Special Edition Acoustic Electric in Terracotta Top w/Gig Bag combines the versatile Grand Auditorium body with a solid torrefied spruce top, layered sapele back and sides and Taylor's comfortable playing feel. Its specially roasted spruce soundboard adds warmth and played-in character while preserving the clarity and projection expected from spruce, and C-Class bracing helps increase volume, sustain and low-end response. Features

The solid torrefied spruce top undergoes Taylor's proprietary roasting process to produce a warmer, more mature response while retaining the broad dynamic range and clear articulation of spruce. Paired with layered sapele back and sides, the 114ce delivers a balanced voice suited to strumming, fingerstyle, accompaniment and everyday songwriting.

Taylor's Grand Auditorium body shape offers a comfortable feel with a versatile tonal response that works across a wide range of musical styles. C-Class interior bracing enhances the guitar's acoustic output with greater sustain, stronger projection and added low-frequency presence.

The mahogany neck uses Taylor's comfortable Standard Carve profile and a narrower 1-11/16 inch nut width for relaxed fretting. A smoked eucalyptus fretboard provides a smooth playing surface, while the Venetian cutaway gives the fretting hand easier access to the upper register.

Taylor Expression System 2 electronics use a behind-the-saddle pickup design to capture the guitar's dynamic acoustic character for amplification and direct recording. Simple onboard controls make it easy to shape the plugged-in sound for rehearsals, performance or studio use.
