Features

The GS Mini body shape delivers a surprisingly full acoustic voice from a compact instrument, making it equally useful as an everyday guitar, travel companion or comfortable alternative to a full-size acoustic. Traditional X-bracing supports the Sitka spruce top for lively projection, definition and a responsive feel under the picking hand.

The Sitka spruce soundboard provides a versatile blend of clarity, balance and headroom, while layered sapele back and sides contribute warmth and consistency. Gloss finishing on the body enhances the Special Edition presentation while highlighting the guitar's Ben Harper-inspired top treatment and natural back and sides.

A neo-tropical mahogany neck with Taylor's Standard Carve profile provides the smooth, approachable feel associated with the GS Mini series. The 23-1/2 inch scale reduces string tension compared with a full-scale acoustic, while the 1-11/16 inch nut width keeps chords, bends and melodic playing comfortable.
