The Universal Audio Volt 2 Max combines two Tone Shaping Preamps with onboard Max dynamics processing in a 10-in / 4-out desktop USB interface. Its 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion, full-color Smart Display, and flexible expansion are designed to give recording musicians and producers fast access to polished studio-style tone at the tracking stage.
Features
Warmth, Focus, and Shine preamp modes can be paired with six Max compression presets inspired by classic LA-2A and 1176-style dynamics for more than 18 tone combinations. Two mic / line inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs, ADAT or S/PDIF optical expansion, MIDI I/O, Auto-Gain, Clip Protection, and a built-in talkback mic support larger sessions, while two headphone outputs aid collaboration.
