The Universal Audio Volt 4 Max is a next-generation 12-in / 6-out desktop USB audio interface that combines two Tone Shaping Preamps with Max dynamics processing, 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion, and flexible studio connectivity. It is designed for creators who want fast analog-inspired sound shaping alongside modern monitoring, expansion, and workflow tools.
Features
Three preamp character modes—Warmth, Focus, and Shine—pair with six Max compression presets for more than 18 tracking combinations. Two mic / line inputs, two front-panel Hi-Z inputs, additional line I/O, ADAT or S/PDIF optical expansion, MIDI, a built-in talkback mic, speaker switching between Main and Alt monitors, and two headphone outputs support larger productions. Auto-Gain and Clip Protection help keep levels under control while the Smart Display provides detailed visual feedback.
