The RE-2 is designed to capture the sound and behaviour of the classic RE-201 Space Echo, including multi-head tape echo response, spring reverb character, preamp-style coloration and the organic movement associated with vintage tape delay. Its compact format makes those sounds easy to add to a modern pedalboard without the size and maintenance of an original tape unit.

An 11-position mode selector lets you choose different virtual tape-head combinations with or without reverb. Separate Echo and Reverb knobs make it easy to balance delay repeats and ambience, while Repeat Rate, Intensity and Tone controls let you shape everything from subtle slapback and rhythmic echoes to spacious, atmospheric repeats.

The Wow & Flutter control adds natural tape-style modulation, helping the pedal move from clean and focused to warbly, aged and expressive. The carryover switch allows delay trails to continue when the effect is bypassed, making transitions smoother during live performance.
